The unarmed steam ship SS Braatt II was travelling from Newport for Rouen via Falmouth with a cargo of 2780 tons of coal when she was torpedoed by UB-30.  She sank within 10 minutes.

The wreck lies on her port side. The bow has largely rotted away and her engine lies almost upside down.
