In thick fog the ocean going motor tug Witte Zee attempted to assist a ship Brother George who had ran aground when she stuck a rock. All the crew were rescued.
The wreck is almost upright and intact, although she is beginning to show signs of breaking up. In the past she has been a popular dive site.
